Hosta Silk Kimono Ruscus discovered in the late 1980sI first saw this stunning hosta at the garden of Minnesota's Hideko Gowen, and immediately knew I wanted to grow and offer it. This hybrid of the giant H. montana x H. 'Dorothy Benedict' makes as 5' wide, rapidly growing clump. The long, wavy grey green leaves are each bordered with a wide creamy edge. In early summer the clumps are topped with 3' tall scapes of light lavender flowers. This was one of the star plants at the 2000 American Hosta
