Grapes: Blaufrankisch Vineyard: Blend of different plots, all certified Organic. Planted between 1972 2001. Loess, sand, clay soil. Vinification: Grapes are hand harvested and sorted by hand. Left to macerate on the skins in open vats with gentle punchdowns. Spontaneous fermentation, followed by slow pneumatic press. Aged in older 225l and 400l barrels. Unfined, unfiltered, no added SO2. Bottled in
