sandy soils mixed with pink quartz & the other half has more organic matter as well as large shale outcroppings

Vajra Barbera-Freisa, Piemonte, Italy Niizawa Brewery brothers Xavi Padró and AndreuVajra blends Barberas juicy brightness with Freisas floral spice and gentle grip, drawing estate fruit from the high hills around Barolo for lift and clarity. The grapes are hand picked and fermented in stainless steel with a light touch to keep the tannins fine; levage stays in tank to preserve crunch and perfume.
