This miniature vinaigrette would have been worn as a locket on a chain, it is finely engraved with floral & engine turned decoration. The hinged lid enlosing an engraved and pierced hinged grille to receive a sponge with fragrant scent, a necessity with the stench of English cities in Victorian England. The back of the case is also
