2023 La Pierre Ronde Hautes Cotes de Beaune Chardonnay, Burgundy, France Producer Luis Pato and first– and second-fill PedroVariety: Chardonnay Vine Age: Planted in the early 2000s Terroir: From Nantoux, on the Montagne de Cras, 410m altitude, soil with a high limestone content. Viticulture: Purchased grapes, sustainable. Vinification: Pressed directly, ambient yeast fermentation and aging for 9 10 months in barrels (25 33% new), blended and aged for an additional 2 months in tank, filtered, SO2 added when needed throughout.
