youthfully austere and mildly rustic finish

This is aromatically less refined but more complex with its pungent nose of hazelnut

finishing long and fragrant

indeed it seems as though the finish is built on it

Eugenie, Vosne-Romanee Clos d'Eugenie other_regions It was my last port(a monopole measuring . 57 ha). Here the fruit is more from the red side of the spectrum and while the nose isnt quite as spicy, it is both more elegant and airier. The delicious middleweight flavors possess a more sophisticated texture along with a subtle bead of minerality on the firmer, moderately austere and slightly more persistent finish. This too is very good for its level and worth considering.
