especially for a release from what is widely considered a so-so vintage for Champagne
with silky layers of fruit that emerge gracefully from its mid-weight frame
for example the soils with more clay don't work so well in cooler years
quince and wild honey
rich and firmly structured flavors that are bigger than what I usually find with Feusselottes
Pinson Freres, Chablis Forets other_regions especially for a release from(very old vines of an indeterminate age; vinified in stainless and raised in wood). More evident Chablis character is present on the nose of green fruit, mineral reduction, citrus confit and shellfish scents. There isnt quite the same density to the otherwise solidly powerful and attractively textured medium bodied flavors that conclude in a dry, linear, chiseled and lemony finish. This chalky effort is also very good and I especially like the balance
