and traditionally were used in initiations of young monks or as visualization aids during ceremonies and rituals

and think they would look very beautiful lined up together like sculptures on a shelf

Pink Breasted Robin, Sweet Little Antique Watercolor on Card, Simply Framed 1860s arithmetic which make a rattleI thought this little robin watercolor was so charming I popped it into an old frame I had sitting around a small but happy harbinger of spring. I especially love the wonky way its little legs grab that branch! Watercolor and graphite on card, mounted with one small piece of mounting tape to another piece of card easily removed. Watercolor late 19th early 20th c. I believe. Watercolor: 3" x 2 5 8". Framed, under glass : 5 7 8" x 4". All in very good
