Description
2019 was extremely dry
There is good volume to the pleasingly textured medium-bodied flavors that possess a generous mouth feel as well as reasonably good definition on the complex
substantial palate with aromatic oak on the long finish
round and polished
The 2009 was partly fermented in oak (at roughly 30%)
Domaine, Pavelot other_regions_australia 2019 was extremely dry(from Les Chaumes). Enough wood to merit pointing out is present on the vaguely exotic nose of apple compote, lychee, passion fruit and jasmine tea scents. There is both fine volume and power to the larger scaled flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the sappy, moderately long and noticeably rustic finale. This delicious effort wont win any awards for refinement, but it should repay 5 to 8 years of keeping.
