Extra Large Painted Folk Art Spinning Top 1917 carving Everything about this painting isAt one point surely there was a string that wrapped around this which one would use to set it spinning, but I like it just as an object now, and rather a patriotic one, too, hand painted red white and blue. It's about as large a wooden top as Ive seen, with a satisfying form and metal disks at either end, meaning it could be wound and spun on either end. Id guess 1940s or so. 6 1 4 l x 3 1 4 d and in good condition.
