King and Court Size:Standard: 6 x 4in Bishop of OxfordKing and Court, late 13th 14th century, (1910). Medieval dress from the time of Edward II, (1272 1307)). The Court pie was a short garment for cold weather. It was circular with a hole in the centre for the head, and was made in two or more colours, hence the term pie or pied.
