I think it makes for quite a satisfying tabletop object just on its own--the wood is beautiful and the elongated egg form really elegant--though it would be fun to see it put to use as the topper for a whole new construction

Cards are 4 1/16" x 3 1/16"

plus blue cloth/ ribbon down the center covering the interior binding

and I'll keep snatching them up when I find them as I think they are completely stunning
