which I return again and again as a marvelous tool for observing and thinking about my surroundings

and I think the rest are about the same age

with nice crackling to the old paint on his face

which naturally tilts a bit upward

Evocative Old Elephant Shaped Mold! soft green The piece measures 5I'm not great at visualizing how molds would have been used, but definitely this produced some sort of elephant! Great from both sides, with this wonderful play of screws and bolts and holes and outlines, and then this putty, now hard, masking out the face. Really a curious, wonderfully strange looking thing! 7" l x 6" t x 1" d, with a super patina of age and use.
