Each measures 9 3/16" x 5 7/8" x 1/2" and while they show wear they are in very good overall condition

but there are not many of her drawings accessible and I am by no means certain

the two splits on the lid of the box were very well repaired with glue at some point

with the expression on the face of the mother (best seen in digital positive) just devastating

and definitely have some age

Embossed Tin Canister with Figures, Animals, Houses and More 54 inch measuring stick Each measures 9 3/16" xI believe this was made as a tea canister and dates to the 4th quarter of the 19th century. I've never seen another like it, and fell in love with it for the mix of embossed imagery animating the tin, which reminds me a lot of die cuts as well as learn to draw books of the period, with dog, eagle, dove, house, angel, boat, woman holding what I think is a tambourine overhead, and lots more. Very charming and handy for stashing all sorts of things. 7 5
