And great old patina to the dry wood surface. Late 19th early 20th c. I believe; a happy little wall pocket for matches or small treasures or notes to self. 5" x 2 5 8" x 1 3 8" d. Good antique condition, sturdy and sound, nice warm patina to the dry pine surface.
